Hi! Im Hannah Evans, Owner of Hannah Evans Photography. Let me tell you a little about myself! I was born and raised here in Springfield Illinois. I'm 23 years old and when i'm not behind my camera I love to spend time with my family and friends. On a normal day you would probably find me in my kitchen making something, volunteering at our church or watching some show with my husband Austin! Fun fact about me, I would rather rewatch shows i've seen a million times before then start watching a new one, to the point that I have watched "That 70's show" 4 times from start to finish. I have to admit its my favorite show ever and its just such a classic I can't even help myself. Something else about me is I LOVE to cook/bake. Something about it is just so calming to me and who doesn't love good food? I do! My family would say i'm crazy because I am a super picky eater but I just love food. Now let me tell you a little about my life! Growing up my parents had tons (and I mean TONS) of photo albums, and one of my favorite things to do was to flip through photos from when I was really young and hear the stories that, I couldn't remember because I was too little, but to be able to have the memory from another perspective. Then in High school I was always the one with a phone in my hand taking pictures of anything and everything happening around me just so I could look back and remember it all later. I really just dove into Photography, specifically in my Senior year of High school. I spent half of my school day doing nothing but taking Photos and learning everything I needed to know to really make something of this dream I had. I've now made that dream come true and I'm working full time as a photographer and occasionally watching a baby or 2 in my free time.
A Little Bit About Me
When you book a session with me, you will learn very quickly that I am a talker! I love to chat about anything and everything! Typically a session with me will look a little crazy, (more me than you haha). I talk a little silly and I will sometimes jump around and even yell if I get super excited about a specific photo (or just to make you laugh)! Personally, I have a super fake posed smile and I hate it, it just doesn’t look like me. So when I get photos done, I don’t love a ton of posed fake smile photos, therefore I wont make you do that either! I do lots of prompts, like “walk towards me and say your favorite thing about each other” or “mom and dad stand together and have the kids all run in circles around you” because I love capturing the genuine connection and real moments between people and families! Once we finish our session and were done having so much fun together, I deliver the images in a digital gallery that you can download the images from!

“Hannah shot our engagement session and our Wedding day. I truly don’t think anybody else could have made us feel as special and idolized as she did! She is so easygoing, lighthearted and such a pleasure to work with!! Me and my husband are both shy/awkward picture takers and she made us feel so comfortable through the entire process! She guided us through every second and pose of our shoots and made them so fun!! Hannah was so much more than just our photographer on our Wedding Day! She wiped tears, fixed makeup, added curls here and there, and even kept some of the groomsmen in check when needed! I couldn’t recommend her any more!! We highly suggest Hannah for any of your photography needs!! “
